Out and About (Well, Virtually, Anyway)!

IMG_6362When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. When life tells you to socially distance at a time when you’d normally be doing all kinds of in-person events, well, you go digital. And that’s just what we’ll be doing over the next couple of weeks! Two of our favourite festivals are still happening, online, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of them!

  • Word on the Street, Toronto will be holding an online marketplace from September 21-30. You can find your fill of good reads, learn more about local authors, and maybe even get a jump start on holiday gift shopping. Watch our social media feeds for a link to our snazzy virtual booth! We’ll happily inscribe and sign any books purchased, and will send along a little treat with each shipment.
  •  The good folks at Arts Milton have rallied the troops for a blended (online + distanced) line-up for this year’s Culture Days celebration. We’ll be hosting online discussions about big questions on September 27th at 11am and 6pm. Join us as we chat about the intersection between philosophy and food, and then philosophy and numbers.
  • Did we mention that we’re working on a new book/interactive ebook app? Yeah, it’s going to be awesome, and out in time for the holidays. Stay tuned to our social media feeds for wee clues!

Pandemic or not, you can’t keep busy thinkers down, and we intend to find all kinds of innovative ways to keep the discussion going this fall and winter.

Happy thinking, everyone! Be safe, be well, be wise.
